Mrs. Trimeishia Cross

Please allow me to introduce myself: My name is Trimeishia Cross and I am currently a teacher in Hillsborough County. My career began in 2003 as a preschool teacher. I then began teaching Headstart in 2009 and taught summer VPK during these years as well. In 2011, I began working for Hillsborough County School Board as a 2nd grade teacher. I continued my work there as a kindergarten teacher for 5 years before transferring to Polk County School Board. In 2017, I served as a reading interventionist for students who were performing below grade level in reading in 3rd-5th grades. I then transitioned into a Reading Coach position where I coached and supported other teachers in improving their teaching and classroom management skills.

I am currently certified in Elementary Education (K-6th grade) and Educational Leadership. I am also ESOL and Reading endorsed. 

 

Your child’s education is important to me as well. I will utilize my expertise and all of my resources to help him/her achieve their learning goals. I will work to provide your child with the individualized attention that he/she needs to improve their reading, writing, and/or math skills.
